MOMOS THE PATREUS (meaning Momos from Patras)
This is the National Satire Festival of Amateur Artists, which is included in the official program of Patras Carnival. It has been an idea of the Refeneamateur artistic team of our city and it is held annually during the carnival period.
Short plays performed by amateur actors from all over Greece are presented and a competition takes place in order to vote for the best performance. Carnival, satire and culture coexist and the result is more than satisfying; it is terrific!
This event is co organized by the Municipality of Patras, the Municipal Development Organization of Patras, the Refeneamateur artists and it is under the auspices of the Greek Playwright and Music Composers Company.
